Position’s overview

We are seeking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our Team in Line Department. This is a role where previous experience will be considered as an advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing quotes, taking bookings, advising, monitoring and supervising shipments.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service and conduct verbal and written communication with client representatives such as customs brokers as well as representatives and drivers of trucking and transportation companies to achieve and maintain high service levels.
  • Perform operational tasks to ensure highest customer standards within one or more departments to include inbound, outbound, domestic and international shipping. 
  • Managing and processing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Organizing and maintaining office files and documents.
  •  

    Skills and Requirements:

  • A previous experience in Shipping, Forwarding or Logistics sector will be considered as an advantage.
  • A Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Shipping or any related field.
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language, both verbal and written.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to changing working demands.
  • Professional attitude and pleasant personality.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to operate in a demanding – fast paced environment.
