Position’s overview

We are seeking for a Pricing Analyst (Ocean) to join our Team in Sales Department. This is a role where experience with agents, contracts, rates, quotes, and bids for all modes (mostly ocean), including a growing multimodal services product as well as experience with international freight forwarding quotes (primarily ocean), pricing, and contracts are keys for  a high performance. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing models and strategies that take into account factors such as market conditions, competition, and customer demand.
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals that meet those needs.
  • Monitors requests to assure quotations are completed timely, professionally, and in a sales-ready format.
  • Monitor pricing performance and adjust pricing strategies as needed to remain competitive.
  • Ensure that all foreign agent requests are quoted and handled with sense of urgency in specific timeframe.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Maintain pricing databases and ensure that pricing information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Preparing weekly as well as monthly reports for our Departments Manager.

    Skills and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in Transportation and Logistics sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle big amounts of data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to changing working demands.
  • Professional attitude and pleasant personality.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to operate in a demanding – fast paced environment.
  • A Bachelor degree in Shipping, Business Administration, Marketing or any related field
  • Familiarity with Freightplus Software knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
